We stayed two nights at Palatia Village- on arrival and before depature on Crete. We arrived later at night the first night and service was excellent. We were welcomed and the owner went out of his way to ensure we were able to obtain a meal on site, which was appreciated. The second night was before we flew out. Very nice room, we really enjoyed the pool and the whole complex is well cared for. Owner and staff were very friendly and an excellent place to relax. Breakfast was very relaxing and good quality.
Our room on our second night stay was very nice and was a two room unit. It only had one air conditioner however, and the night was very hot and humid. The AC could not cool the room and with the windows open noises from the area carried up. It was a very hot night and the extra money for the AC that night was not worth it as we had to open the windows in an attempt to cool the room. We had a sleepless night due to the heat and unable to cool the room down. We would still recommend the hotel, it was a good value, good service, and a very nice complex the owners obviously take pride in.

Attentive staff, lovely views over the village and the sea, everything is well-maintained. A superior studio has basic facilities you need. Offers excellent service and brilliant food. As I remember, free Wi-Fi throughout the property was a good bonus.

The pool at Palatia was great. The sun was on the pool from early in the morning until the evening time. Organised bbq during the week and a bar which served food all day and evening was great :) It was nice and quite at night so a good nights sleep was got. Its possible to walk to the town and will take only 10mins a taxi will charge €7.
The shower in the apartment was of a low standard and quite difficult to figure out how to work it, did always had hot water and it did have a small bath which was nice too. This place was perfect otherwise

I loved Hersonissos, the hotel was quiet and close to the nightlife. the staff was friendly and provided complimentary wake-up service and ironing. the service was excellent and I had an amazing 11-night stay. the location of the hotel was peaceful and fantastic, with bars, tavernas, and clubs nearby along the bay-front, as well as mountains and a beautiful bay. Plus, it was just a short walk to a natural history museum.

The hotel's decoration is absolutely charming, with refreshing tones that perfectly capture the beauty of the surroundings. The general areas are so well-maintained and inviting. As a senior woman, I found the hotel to be easily accessible, with no steep hills or stairs to climb, making it convenient for me to move around and explore.
The children working there could have been a bit more attentive to the needs of senior guests.
